Amy LaBelle's Chili Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 lbs Ground Beef

  • 1 cup The Winemaker's Kitchen Spicy Chili Starter

  • 3/4 cup diced Onion

  • 3/4 cup Corn Kernels

  • 1/2 cup diced Green Bell Pepper

  • 1/4 cup diced Red Bell Pepper

  • 2 cans diced Tomatoes

  • 2 (15 oz) cans Kidney Beans

  • 1 (15 oz) can Cannellini Beans

  • 1 cup Jalapeño Pepper Cooking Wine

  • 3 cups good quality Beef Broth

Directions:

  1. Brown ground beef in deep pan and drain off fat.

  2. Add The Winemaker’s Kitchen Chili Starter and stir.

  3. Add all vegetables except tomatoes and cook, stirring, for two to three minutes.

  4. Add remaining ingredients and simmer, covered, for 20 minutes.

  5. Serve with creative toppings like sour cream, scallions, shredded cheese, tortilla chips for dipping. Enjoy!

Amy's Recipe Tips:

Let the chili simmer uncovered for the last 20–30 minutes so the flavors deepen and the texture thickens naturally—chili always gets better with a little patience.
