Cranberry Sauce

My Cranberry Sauce is a holiday must-have. Tangy, vibrant, and a little sweet, it’s the perfect side to elevate every dish.


Beer And Cheddar Soup with Chorizo Sausage and Apples


Amy LaBelle's Cranberry Sauce Recipe:

Serves 6-8 people


Ingredients:

  • 6 shallots (sliced thin)

  • 1 bottle LaBelle Winery Cranberry Wine

  • 8 cups fresh cranberries

  • 7 cups sugar

  • 1 cup pectin

  • 2 tsps cinnamon

  • 2 tsps ginger

  • 1 tsp orange zest

  • 1 tsp nutmeg

  • 1 tsp clove


Directions:

  1. Heat a pot over medium heat.

  2. Sauté shallots in oil until soft.

  3. Reduce the heat to low, and add LaBelle Cranberry Wine.

  4. Stir the mixture, Reduce the liquid down until only half remains.

  5. Add fresh cranberries to the pot and immediately stir in pectin.

  6. Combine and heat mixture to a boil.

  7. Once boiling, add the sugar and all dry spices, then bring mixture back to a boil.

  8. Remove from heat, let cool and then store until ready to serve!
